The Commission has amended and adopted permanently WAC 480-120-071, Extension of service, relating to requirements for extension of service to customers within a company's service territory, and WAC 480-120-103, Application of service, relating to requirements the applicant and the company must meet for a service application. Specifically, the rules are amended to allow an applicant an extension of up to 1000 feet at no charge and require the applicant to bear the cost of extending plant beyond 1000 feet, and eliminate the terminating access charge method of cost recovery for future extensions. |
