Summary:
Adds Section 13 to Schedule 183, Natural Gas Conservation Service, Tariff WN U-2, clarifying when and what portion of conservation funding provided to a customer must be repaid if a customer chooses to receive all or a portion of their natural gas commodity from another party. This applies only to eligible large conservation projects for commercial, industrial and multi-family customers receiving natural gas service under Schedules 205, 208, 217, 218, 251, and 261 who have elected to enter grant agreements that call for repayments if they are no longer natural gas customers of the company. Among these customer groups the largest 2012 conservation budget is for Schedule 205 customers, commercial/industrial retrofit, at nearly $3 million. It is expected that a large proportion of future grants issued under Section 13 would be issued to this customer classification.
