120169February 7, 2012, 0900 hours, a BNSF freight train struck a vehicle at SE Boulevard/3rd Avenue SW near Ephrata, Grant County. The USDOT number is 065779N. The railroad milepost is 1599.50. The vehicle driver passed away shortly after the incident. The driver was male, estimated age in his 80’s. The crossing is equipped with lights and gates.
