Single State Registration No Longer Exists--Replaced by UCR

SINGLE STATE REGISTRATION NO LONGER EXISTS--REPLACED BY UCR AS OF 9/10/07.



Last year Congress passed a law creating a NEW carrier registration program, called Unified Carrier Registration (UCR). UCR was scheduled by law to replace the Single State Registration (SSRS) program on January 1, 2007. The new UCR program has been implemented as of September 10, 2007. All interstate carriers must be registered in the program by November 15, 2007 to avoid compliance issues.

If you would like to register in the UCR program, go to the following site: http://www.ucr.in.gov/ You will need to pay with a credit card. Once completed, you will be able to print out a receipt immediately.

If you would like to register by mail, please go to our UCR page for the application form. All mailed in applications must be paid by either check or money order. Credit cards will not be accepted.
