MDU Resources Group, Inc., Cascade Natural Gas Corporation, Commission Staff, Public Counsel, Northwest Industrial Gas Users, the Energy project, and Boise Cascade filed a Settlement Stipulation that resolves all contested issues in this proceeding. The Commission will convene a hearing on the parties' proposed settlement on Monday, June 18, 2007, at 2:00 p.m.
Background: On November 13, 2006, MDU Resources Group, Inc. and Cascade Natural Gas Corporation filed a joint application requesting the Commission issue an order authorizing MDU Resources' acquisition of all outstanding common stock of Cascade. Cascade would become a direct, wholly owned subsidiary of MDU Resources. (Docket 061721, see "Documents" link below for more information).
