Avista files a petition for an order authorizing implementation of a natural gas decoupling mechanism and to record accounting entries associated with the mechanism.

The UTC has set a prehearing conference in Seattle for Sept. 6, 2006, at 9:30 a.m., on a petition filed by Avista for an order authorizing implementation of a natural gas decoupling mechanism and record accounting entries associated with the mechanisms. (Docket 060518, see "Documents" link below for more information).

This prehearing conference is set at the same time and location as a prehearing conference in Docket U-060273, an application filed by Avista for an order approving a corporation reorganization to create a holding company, AVA Formation Corp.

On March 5, 2008, the UTC issued a Notice of Hearing set for March 24, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. to further address Avista's evaluation plan. Also, March 17, 2008 was set as the due date for additional comments on the issue to be discussed at the above-mentioned hearing.
