VNXX: Complaint & Arbitration

The commission is currently reviewing two dockets relating to "VNXX" - a practice whereby a carrier assigns a telephone number with a prefix different from that usually used for telephones in that location.

The first docket touch on this matter, UT-063006, is an arbitration of the terms of interconnection agreements between Qwest and several competitive local exchange carriers (CLECs).

The second, UT-063038, is a complaint by Qwest against the CLECs.
