The commission held a prehearing conference on February 13, 2009, at 1:30 p.m., on a petition by BNSF Railway Company for the closure of the Logen Road grade crossing in Snohomish County. A procedural schedule including a heard date and public comment hearing date has been established.
The commission will hold evidentiary hearings in this matter beginning March 30, 2009, at 9:00 a.m., in the Snohomish County Public Utility District No. 1's Stanwood Office, 9124 - 271st Street NW, Stanwood, Wa. In addition, the commission will hold a public comment hearing in this matter on March 30, 2009, at 6:00 p.m., also in the Snohomish County PUD No. 1's Stanwood Office. (Docket TR-090121. On October 21, 2009, the commission issued Order 03 - Initial Order Granting Petition to Close Logen Road Grade Crossing Subject to Conditions.
