UTC sets a prehearing conference on NW Natural's request for a general rate increase for gas service.

The UTC suspends tariff revisions filed by Northwest Natural Gas Company, and sets a prehearing conference for April 24, 2008, at 1:30 p.m. The purpose of the filing is to increase rates and charges for gas service provided to customers in the state of Washington. The company requests a gas rate increase of $4,342,063, or 4.75 percent. (Docket 080546, see "Documents" link below for more information).
