Hearings & Rulemakings > Rulemakings > New law triggers review of gas pipeline rules The Commission filed a Proposed Rulemaking (CR-102) with the Office of the Code Reviser on March 19, 2008. The Commission provides interested persons an opportunity to file written comments on the proposed rules by 5:00 p.m., Friday, April 25, 2008. The proposed rules intend to implement changes in state law as a result of the passage of Senate Bill 5225 during the 2007 legislative session. Specifically, the proposed rules would provide amendments to update definitions and in addition update the penalty rule in WAC 480-93-223 to be consistent with federal law, delete a requirement in WAC 480-93-200, modify the quarterly fee installment dates in WAC 480-93-240(3) and update the reference date in the adoption by reference rule in WAC 480-93-999(1)(a). |
