UTC amends WAC 480-31-080 to remove the annual vehicle fee for non-profit transportation providers from rule and allow the Commission to set the fee by order each year.

The commission has amended and adopted WAC 480-31-080, Fees and annual report, relating to non-profit transportation providers. The rule will go into effect on November 7, 2008.

The amended rule removes the annual vehicle fee for non-profit transportation providers from rule and allows the commission to set the fee by order each year. This allows the commission more flexibility in adjusting the fee, either up or down, to meet the intent of RCW 81.66.030, which requires the Commission to charge fees that approximate the cost of regulation.
