Senior Pipeline Safety Engineer David Lykken will serve as acting director of the Washington UTC Pipeline Safety Program starting October 1.  Alan Rathbun, the program’s director since August of 2003, has announced he will become the Licensing Division Director for the Washington State Liquor Control Board starting in October.   David Lykken has been with the pipeline safety program since January 2000 and has served as the program’s senior engineer since 2004.

A recruitment for a permanent replacement will begin shortly.
