UTC to arbitrate interconnection agreement between Sprint Communications Company L.P. and Whidbey Telephone Company.

The UTC has rescheduled the Arbitration Hearing of Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, 2008, and revised the procedural schedule on an interconnection dispute between Sprint Communications Company and Whidbey Telephone Company. The UTC rescheduled the Arbitration Hearing for Feb. 27 - 29, 2008, at the UTC's headquarters in Olympia, Wa.

Sprint filed a request for arbitration with the commission on October 17, 2007, under section 252(b) of the 1996 Telecommunications Act. (Docket 073031, see "Documents" link below for more information).
