The commission has begun an expedited rulemaking (CR-105) for its annual update of "Adoption-by-reference" rules. The proposal would revise adoption-by-reference dates to reflect the most current published versions of adopted federal rules and other adopted publications as well as make other minor administrative changes. Adoption-by-reference rules are federal laws or other standards that the UTC has adopted by referring to them in its rules. Comments on the rules or expedited rulemaking (RCW 34.05.353) are due by December 8, 2009. (Docket 091124, see "Documents" link below for more information.)
